Heather Herold

Heather is the grants and operations manager for Colorado Plateau Foundation, as well as a program associate in the Native American program at the Grand Canyon Trust.

Heather is a staffer for the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition and Bears Ears Commission, and also works with the Native American Business Incubator Network to support alternative economies and small businesses in Native communities on the Plateau. She holds bachelor of arts degrees in anthropology and applied Indigenous studies, and a master of arts in research anthropology, with a focus on Indigenous archaeology, from Northern Arizona University.

Heather previously worked with the Partnership for Native American Cancer Prevention and the Applied Indigenous Studies and Anthropology Departments at Northern Arizona University.

She brings experience in program evaluation, organizational management, research, community outreach, and technical and grant writing.
